Course Description
This introductory course provides occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists with a foundational overview of the Bioness Integrated Therapy System (BITS) and BITS Balance and their application in neurorehabilitation across the continuum of care. Participants will learn how to integrate BITS into evidence-informed rehabilitation for individuals with stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological conditions affecting visual, cognitive, motor, and balance function. The course explores the use of BITS to address these impairments through engaging, task-oriented interventions while developing skills to customize therapy parameters, interpret objective outcome measures, and incorporate performance data to support individualized treatment planning, monitor progress, and optimize functional outcomes. *Pending CEU Approval
